We would like to extend an invitation for you to submit your abstract to the 2024 Congress of the International Paediatric Radiation Oncology Society (PROS).
Kindly adhere to the following guidelines when preparing your abstract.
GENERAL RULES
- Submit your abstract exclusively through the online platform.
- Ensure that your abstract does not exceed 300 words.
- Note that graphics, photos, scans, and images will not be accepted as part of the abstract.
- All submitted abstracts will be considered, with some chosen by the Scientific Committee for oral presentation and others for presentation as posters.
- The Scientific Committee will identify two abstracts for support by PROS, leading to publication in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, and Physics. All selected oral abstracts will be published in the Red Journal, subject to the peer review process, and the authors of the two best abstracts selected on-site will receive complimentary registration fees for the 2026 congress.
- There is no restriction on the number of abstracts that an author may submit.
- Extended abstract submission deadline is March 28, 2024 12:59 PM (GMT +11)
The early bird registration deadline does not apply to accepted abstract presenters. Upon receiving notification of abstract acceptance, they will be given sufficient time to register at the early bird prices.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRESENTING AUTHOR
The individual submitting the abstract must initially designate the presenting author, who is required to register for the congress immediately upon receiving notification to present the abstract. Serving as the main point of contact for the abstract, the presenting author assumes the following responsibilities:
- Informing all co-authors about the abstract’s acceptance.
- Collecting conflict of interest disclosures from co-authors.
ABSTRACT REVIEW AND ACCEPTANCE
The Scientific Committee will assess and accept presentations based on criteria such as quality, relevance, and space availability.
